I was getting this and several other variations while attempting to update/install some packages on CentOS 4. It was strange because I could find the exact package it was talking about with a manual search. However, doing a "yum search mysqlclient" didn't return any package for me newer than mysqlclient10. Here's an easy solution:
From here on you should be good to go...
Error: Missing Dependency: libmysqlclient.so.14()(64bit) is needed by package perl-DBD-MySQL

yum remove mysqlclient*
yum --enablerepo=centosplus install mysqlclient14*
yum --enablerepo=centosplus install mysqlclient14*
From here on you should be good to go...
