We sat here until 2am and spent much of it talking to a 9th grader named Devon on his way to Washington from SoCal (on his own!). He was heading up to spend Spring Break with his mother and told us he hopes to become a nuclear engineer when he grows up. We talked about space, the speed of light, and many of the doomsday scenarios possible in our wonderful little universe.
